Created in 1917, the company Pouliquen was initially specialized in the shallots and onion commercialisation.
It's in 2002, when Gerard Quillévéré and Christophe Desmettre bought the company, that new major investments were made, allowing Pouliquen to become the main leader in the shallot field: new outlets were found in France and abroad by offering (including shallots) all the fresh vegetables marketed under the brand "Prince de Bretagne".
